It won’t change the action of the rod, it just can handle more bumps and bruises than previous rods. The Seage is outfitted with Sea Guide Hero Hi-Grade aluminum-oxide guides which work great with braided lines and a Sea Guide NPS reel seat. The grips are slim but constructed of Winn material and then covered in shrinktubing for all day long comfort.
